I’m delighted to feature Agora Jewellery…and the lovely lady behind the designs, Colombian-born Adriana Walsh.
I met Adriana last year and was really taken by her passion for her business.
Today I’m featuring her floral-inspired designs starting with these intricate filigree earrings above.
And below are some gorgeous earrings which I couldn’t resist buying!
She also has a range of rings including the delicate Vanessa Filigree Ring on the left with several rows of petals creating a beautiful and delicate flower, plus the Filigree Clover Ring on the right.
Adriana is a trained jewellery designer and when she set up Agora Jewellery here in the UK, she decided to commit to Fair Trade policies to improve the lives and the environment of mining communities and artisans in Latin America.
The majority of her jewellery is hand-made by skilled artisans and one of her trademarks is filigree jewellery, an ancient jewellery-making technique originating from Spain and Italy.
It’s been so lovely to watch Adriana’s business grow. This year, she’s had coverage in Vogue and Marie Claire magazines!
