My final blog post for today features the winner of the Low Cost High Impact category at this year’s RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2012.
Called ‘Our First Home, Our First Garden’, it was designed by Nilufer Danis and was constructed by Landform Consultants with a budget of only £7,000.
A garden suitable for a young professional couple, it features beautiful contemporary planting with a colour palette of deep blue and sulphur yellow.
Eryngium ‘Sapphire Blue’ and Salvia ‘Ostfriesland’ provide the blue bursts of colour and yellow is provided by Hemerocallis ‘Missouri Beauty’ and Achillea ‘Credo’.
I loved this garden…complemented with its chiminea to add warmth in the evening, it looks the perfect place to chill out in.
