As some of you may know…I’m a bit of a floral ‘mugaholic’ and I absolutely love Emma Bridgewater‘s range of beautiful flower-inspired mugs.
Here is just a selection of her designs…

As for a little bit of background about how Emma started her company…back in 1985, she was looking for a birthday present for her mother. She wanted to buy a cup and saucer, but she couldn’t find anything that she liked.
So, to cut a very long story short, she went to Stoke-on-Trent to find a model-maker and worked with him to make a mug, bowl, jug and a dish. And she hasn’t looked back since…
Now her designs are not only created on ceramics, but also textiles, stationery, melamine and tin.
If you’d like to keep up-to-date with news about Emma’s company, they’re on Twitter and Facebook.
P.S. Emma Bridgewater donates 35 pence per item purchased from her Flowers collection to NGS Enterprises Limited which pays all of its taxable profits to the National Gardens Scheme.
