I’ve been taking a few days off this week, so there isn’t a Flowerona reflects blog post today.

However I thought I’d share with you some stunning images of floral ‘hairdressing’ by Japanese artist Takaya Hanayuishi.

Aren’t they just extraordinary?

If you’d like to know a little bit more about Takaya, he first started out in the world of cooking.  Then in 2004, he began working as an artist in Kyoto.

Using only fresh flowers, he invented his unique technique of ‘hairdressing’.  He now designs floral creations for weddings, fashion shows and events.
