Chanel’s fragrance discovery flower stall at Covent Garden for Mother’s Day weekend
If you live in London or will be visiting this weekend, I thought you may like to know about a special flower stall which Chanel will have outside their beauty boutique in Covent Garden Piazza, from today until Sunday.
It’s a special fragrance discovery flower stall, dedicated to the blooms that they use in their fragrances.
It’s not a functioning flower stall as such. But you’ll be able to learn about which blooms Chanel include in their signature scents…jasmine, may rose (Rose de Mai), iris, tuberose and patchouli.
If you visit the boutique and buy a 100 ml Eau de Parfum Chanel fragrance however, you’ll receive a hand-tied posy of flowers used in their perfumes.
A calligrapher will hand-write your personalised message on an embossed card for you, with a choice of quotes from Mademoiselle Chanel too.
Plus specialist fragrance experts will be on-hand to offer one-to-one olfactive consultations on the brand’s perfumes.
I’ve worn Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle for some years now and as I’ll be in the area today, I may just pop along to find out more about which flowers they use to create such a heavenly scent.
And if you’re in central London today or over the weekend and are looking for a last-minute Mother’s Day present, why not visit the boutique and flower stall too?
