Flowerona Reflects: roses & more roses…

It was so lovely to start off this week with sunshine.  And the warmth encouraged the Tete-a-Tete narcissi in our garden to bloom.

Here’s what I’ve been up to…

My week

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday

Mainly office days…dealing with emails, writing blog posts and using social media (Facebook & Twitter).

I also started Holly Becker from Decor8’s online Blog Boss course to help me improve and develop Flowerona.

What a wonderful day I had..!  I travelled to East Sussex to attend an ‘Introduction to Floristry’ course at Philippa Craddock’s Flower School.

It was such an inspirational day in a truly stunning rural setting.  And of course, I took lots of photos for a future blog post to tell you all about my day there.

Here’s a little peek of the floral ingredients for our first design…

And this is a snapshot of our second design…

On Friday, I had a fabulous day at the Covent Garden Academy of Flowers in London, where I took part in a ‘Mother’s Day’ course.

It was so lovely to see the Principal Gillian Wheeler and her team of staff.

These stunning roses were on sale outside the school…

At lunchtime, I popped to Chanel’s beauty boutique in Covent Garden to see their flower stall, which I featured yesterday.

It was proving to be very popular with tourists, who were having photos taken in front of it…
