Selina Lake’s Pretty Pastel Style – Book Launch & Fair

I hope you had a lovely weekend…

On Saturday in Flowerona Reflects, I mentioned that I went to Selina Lake‘s Pretty Pastel Style Book Launch & Fair last week in Kingston upon Thames.

Today, I thought I’d share with you some photos that I took at the event.

There were lots of gorgeous stalls selling hand-made, vintage products…and here are just three of them, starting with Vicky Trainor.

Vicky’s company is called The Vintage Drawer.  She makes vintage-inspired homeware and gifts using re-loved linens and re-claimed fabrics.

Plastikote were at the fair too with their range of pastel spray paints.  I couldn’t get over how versatile the paint is…covering glass bottles, ceramics and even egg boxes.

I’ll be practising soon with the samples I received.  But in the meantime, here are some examples of containers which have been sprayed.

Love Lane Vintage who sell antiques, hire out vintage china and style weddings together with florist Wild Willow had a lovely stand….with beautiful spring blooms on display.

Huge congratulations to Selina for the launch of her new book, Pretty Pastel Style! And what a wonderful way to celebrate its launch…

I read on Facebook yesterday that Selina was asking people what they thought about her doing a Summer Fete.

I think it’s a wonderful idea!
