It’s described as ‘Bringing the living into the 5os living room’…and I feel the students have captured this essence in spectacular style!
The exhibit includes an armchair, cabinet, coffee table and lampshade covered in flowers and leaves, plus a rug and ‘living’ floral wallpaper.
I love the muted colour palette which was complemented by pops of colour, including the yellow cushion and the burgundy slippers.
And what an amazing combination of textures? Craspedia, succulents, orchids, chrysanthemums, blackberries, echinops, roses and eryngiums have all been used in the design.
Huge congratulations to the City of Bath College on creating such a fantastic exhibit!
Many congratulations to the college on not only winning a Gold Medal, but also being awarded ‘Best Floristry College Exhibit’!
What an amazing achievement, especially as this is the first time that they’ve taken part in the RHS Hampton show!
