Social Media for Florists workshop – London, 1st July 2014 : Part 3 – The Goody Bag & A Postcard Giveway

This is my final blog post of three about our Social Media for Florists workshop, which took place at the beginning of this month. And it’s all about the wonderful goody bags which all of the delegates received (the contents of which are pictured above)!

Both my co-host Fiona Humberstone and I would like to thank our sponsors SO much for their overwhelming generosity. They include Designers Guild, LSA International, Serax, Jane Means, Illumens, Emma Ball, Rosehip UK, Cutture and Original Beans. Blog Post

Love from KatieRona and Fiona had thought of everything! From the venue, which was a lovely old warehouse studio called Brixton East, to the décor and crockery which was a mix of lovely vases full of flowers and beautiful glasses and crockery supplied by Anthropologie. There was even gorgeous hand soap in the loo supplied by Designers Guild! We were then given amazing goody bags which consisted of scented candles from Illumens Candles, beautiful floral note cards by Emma Ball, gorgeous vases by LSA and Serax, ribbon from Jane Means, an inspiring and informative book by Fiona Humberstone and lots more!

Many thanks to Designers Guild for the stunningly scented First Rose soap and the gorgeous floral fabric samples. And LSA International for this beautiful Mini Posy Vase.

A huge thanks to Emma Ball for their fabulous stationery, including these pretty Flowers in a Box cards.

Plus this Daisies Pad, Freesias Pocketbook and Topiary Garden Coaster.

I’m a massive fan of Illumens and was thrilled that they sponsored our workshop with scented candles from their Abbaye collection, including this fragrance called Countess Marie. (You may remember that I’ve featured their range on Flowerona before.)

Many thanks too to Rosehip UK for their Bluebird Notebooks and to Serax for these votives and two gorgeous vases for the delegates.

Thank you so much to Jane Means for not only this wonderful Navy and Cream Strip Grosgrain Ribbon for the goody bags.  But also for the beautiful selection of ribbons for our delegates to use in the styling session, including Brighton Stripe Ribbon, Lime Lace and Teal Wired Ribbon.

And finally, many thanks to Original Beans for their delicious chocolate and Cutture for their lovely cards! Each delegate also received a copy of my co-host Fiona’s book, ‘Exhibit’.

We were really wowed by photographer Katie Spicer‘s stunning photos from the workshop. So much so, that we’ve created this collection of eight postcards.

If you’d like to win one of twelve sets of the cards, simply leave a comment below, letting me know what kind of workshops you would like Flowerona to run in the future and where. It’s very much on a first come, first served basis…!

By the way, just in case you missed them, here are links to my other blog posts about the workshop : Part 1 and Part 2. Look out later for a blog post about our next Social Media for Florists workshop, which will be taking place in London on October 1st!
