Social Media for Florists Workshop : London, 20th October 2015 : Part 3 – Styling & Food
I loved the colour palette which Fiona, my workshop co-host, had chosen for the workshop! Autumnal blooms including cafe au lait dahlias, astrantia, chocolate cosmos, cultivated blackberries, grasses and berries from Zest Flowers at New Covent Garden Flower Market were used to style the venue, Brixton East, downstairs. Plus Fiona had brought along some fabulous hydrangeas from her garden.
We also decorated the dining tables for lunch with assorted blooms and candles.
Mini succulents from Quality Plants from the Flower Market were used to style the venue upstairs, some of which were potted up in lovely ceramic pots from Serax. And we invited the delegates to take them home with them.
Maddie Hatton‘s elevenses are always absolutely mouth-watering!
And doesn’t this Blackberry and Rose Geranium cake look amazing! So beautifully decorated with pretty petals…
The delegates absolutely loved Maddie’s cakes and biscotti…!
The food at lunchtime was also so delicious!
At the end of the day, it was time for cocktails and the delegates enjoyed Prosecco and Blackberry Gin Fizz!
