Some Lovely Words from Flowerona Job Vacancies Board Advertisers

“We were delighted to be able to use the new Flowerona Job Vacancies Board and expand our potential audience; together with our own social media posts we had an incredible response to our posting on Flowerona.  Because of the high calibre of responses, we decided to offer two fabulous candidates positions.  Thank you very much Rona, thrilled to have your support and clever initiatives!” Philippa Craddock

We have always struggled in the past with where to advertise our floristry vacancies. Flowerona and the Job Vacancies Board has proved the answer to our prayers! We only needed one month of advertising to be inundated with the highest quality applicants. As always, Rona is a professional and a real pleasure to work with. From now on, all vacancies will be advertised on Flowerona!” Katie Bridges, Mary Jane Vaughan

“We were so pleased to have used Flowerona to fill our Event Planner role at Hayford & Rhodes. It was so easy to add our vacancy with a personal touch with Rona and was live within a day. It was pleasure to receive good quality applicants with relevant experience. We are delighted to have filled the position within a month and we will definitely be back with any future positions. Thank you.” Joanna Rhodes, Hayford & Rhodes

“When recruiting for a hugely important and relatively niche role within our company, we struggled to know where best to reach suitable candidates, knowing that there would only be a small pool of people who possessed the necessary experience for the position. The Flowerona Job Vacancies Board proved to be an ideal platform, and from it we received a number of high calibre applications within the space of 2-3 weeks. Rona managed the entire process with her trademark efficiency and congeniality. We are very grateful for her support and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board to other employers.” Hannah Dees, Paul Thomas Flowers

“We were really impressed with the standard of florists we had applying for our vacancy through the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board in comparison to other sites we’ve used previously. Without a doubt, we will definitely list with Rona again.” Lucy Springett, Jamie Aston

“We were thrilled by the quality of the candidates applying for our role. In fact, we have taken on more people than we had originally intended to! It was great working with Rona and the whole experience from start to finish was simple, straightforward and we’re really pleased with the new additions to our team. We’re growing all the time, and so we’ll definitely look to use the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board again.” Olivia Harvey, Bloom & Wild

” We only advertised on your blog. I thought I would give Gumtree a miss and try Flowerona solely, as I’m tired of getting over a hundred applications with only a handful being relative to the position. We didn’t get as many responses to the advert as we would normally, but the quality was far superior. And we were lucky to have a tough decision between three ladies. Quality over quantity always…as time is of the essence in a busy floral business. I’m so pleased with the response. We will give advertising our shop manager’s position solely to Flowerona and see how we get on.” Leanne Roberts-Hewitt, Wildabout

“Thank you Rona for enabling us to find the perfect employees for our Belgravia boutique.  We posted our adverts on Flowerona and had a remarkable and immediate response from qualified florists from whom we were able to select exactly what we needed.  Hiring has never been so simple and efficient!” Neill Strain, Neill Strain Floral Couture

“We were thrilled with the calibre of applicants who applied through the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board. Each individual who applied met the job specification and had a real passion for flowers. The advertising process was so simple and efficient.” Larry Walshe, Larry Walshe Floral Design

“We go to the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board as a floristry-specific recruitment site. To date, it has brought us a number of high calibre applicants, while the service provided by Rona is excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Flowerona to other industry professionals!” Claire Lewis-Smith, Orchidya

“We recently advertised for a floral designer on the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board and were very happy with the calibre of candidates that respondedWe have now chosen an excellent floral designer who has settled in well and we are very happy with the ease of the process and the speed with which we managed to find the right candidate. I would happily recommend the service to anyone looking for a high calibre of staff in this industry.” Elizabeth Marsh, Elizabeth Marsh Floral Design

“It’s always daunting when you’re looking to expand your workforce, but having the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board has taken the stress and drama of where to advertise away. The response from just 4 weeks has been astounding. And I’m now in a position to have not only filled the position but have a little black book filled with fabulous freelance florists details that I can call upon in the future. What more could you want?!” Gayle Evans, Bloomingayles

‘Rona helped us secure an excellent intern for our large event in Glastonbury. We had lots of talented applicants – and it became clear to us quickly that the vacancy board has a very large reach. We would definitely use this again’. Lil & Mary, Grandirosa

Flowerona is a flower lover’s dream, so it’s the perfect place to find new staff with a passion for floristry. We were delighted with the response to our job advert placed on Flowerona and as a direct result have recruited an amazing, experienced florist to work in our Abingdon flower shop. Recruiting experienced staff in Oxfordshire is often difficult, although we were really pleased with the high calibre of applicants that the advert attracted and will definitely use the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board in the future for all our recruitment needs.” Gary Cooper, Fabulous Flowers

“Registering my job vacancy on Flowerona was so easy and 100% the right move versus listing on online free job sites. The Flowerona website and social media has such a great following that instantly my advert hit its target audience. I was able to request experienced florists and to select someone who is confident in working in a similar style to myself. Being a small business and having a team that consists of just me, it was really important to me to find someone that didn’t need any training. I hope that as my business continues to grow I will be back advertising again!” Lauren Purdy, Flora & Nora

“Thank you so much Rona for all your help and posting our advert on the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board. We had an amazing response of very talented candidates and have found 3 people to join our team. You will be my first port of call if we need to advertise for staff again!” Charlotte Trafford, Moutan Flowers

I recently advertised our floristry position with Flowerona and recruited an excellent new member to the team.  Recruiting in the flower industry used to be difficult; but I now have confidence that I am spending money (albeit a very small amount of money) advertising to get a real audience of florists and therefore real potential recruits; the value of the service is great.  I highly recommend Flowerona.”  Jen Hollingworth, Flowers by Suzanne

“We were so pleased to have our job advert displayed on Flowerona Job Vacancies Board. As we are only a fairly small retail florist and based outside of London, we were so delighted to receive a number of applicants of such a high standard who all had valuable experience. We found the social media support also helped to spread the word! We will be sure to remember Flowerona for any future posts.” Rosa Sherwood, Wild About Flowers (Keynsham)

‘I advertised for a vacancy on the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board and I’m so pleased I did. The standard of applicants was so much higher than those from free job sites. I received a number of applications from people serious about a career in floristry and with reasonable experience. I would definitely recommend!’ Lydia Cywinski, Rose & Ammi

The florists  who applied for our ad on Flowerona are serious career-minded people and I found that we had some very interesting applicants.” Claire Garabedian, InWater Flowers

“Many thanks for your wonderful services!! Your efficiency and willingness to help out gave me complete confidence!” Mirelle Craimer, Flowers by Mirelle

“I’m very happy to say that as a result of the recent advert on the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board, we’ve found another perfect person to join our Sales Team. Once again, we get such great quality applicants through you!” Ian McClellan, FleuraMetz

“I recently placed an advert on the Flowerona Job Vacancies Board, looking for a florist’s job in the south west of England. All I can say is what a great way to find a job quickly, as I’ve been offered several, but start my new job in the middle of May. It only took ten days to get sorted out. So a huge thank you Rona for your help and for creating your wonderful site. I would highly recommend advertising on here, whether you’re looking for a job or looking for staff. It’s hard to find something similar elsewhere for florists.” Jilly Greig
