Branding for Florists 25/03/15

We’re so thrilled to be running our very first Branding for Florists workshop!

Great branding is within the reach of every florist. It’ll help you attract the right clients, communicate with confidence and professionalism, and be first in line for your dream jobs. It’s an essential part of running a successful business. But for many florists, branding can be something that’s shrouded in mystery.

Whether you’re launching a new floristry business, thinking of changing direction or are simply ready to refresh your website, join us for a one day workshop that’ll help you find your focus and up your game.

  • Translate your unique floral style into a compelling brand identity
  • Communicate in a way that’s irresistible to your current and prospective clients.
  • Do more than look smart and professional: be distinctive.
  • Create a website that wins you work, whether you plan to DIY your website or outsource to a professional agency, we share the essential know-how that’ll ensure your next site works hard.
  • Find and work effectively with the right designer for your unique project.

We’ll start the day by looking at the fundamentals of creating a brand identity. Then, we’ll get you focused and help you create an exciting and dynamic vision for your brand. We’ll examine the very best examples of florists’ brand identities, so that you can see how those at the top of their game make it work and how you can apply those very same lessons to your own business.

And whether you have a champagne or lemonade budget, we’ll share some of the tricks of the trade to ensure that you create the very best impression possible. By lunchtime, you’ll have a clear idea of where your brand should be headed and how you’re going to get it there. Expect goose bumps!

After lunch, we focus on the key touch points of your brand: starting online with your website before moving on to your business cards, shop front, packaging and other key elements of your branding.

You’ll gain an understanding of how your website should be structured for maximum effect, what to include and, crucially, what to leave out. You’ll map out a wireframe for your website so that you have a clear idea of how your next site should be structured for maximum impact.

We’ll also create a customer journey. The best websites don’t leave their visitors hanging: they lead them on a journey of discovery, one that ends with a call to action. You’ll discover how to pull together a powerful structure and compelling copy to maximise the potential of every visitor to your site.

Online marketing is only part of the story when it comes to branding. From your business cards, marketing literature and shopfront down to the ribbon you wrap your bouquets with, we’ll cover the absolute essentials of creating a positive and lasting impression.

Taking time out of your business to plan for the future and set goals is something our students tell us they love about all of our Flowerona workshops. So there will be plenty of time to think big and aim high, whilst also taking away some very tangible ‘to do’s that you can implement immediately.
