Book Review of House Plants by Isabelle Palmer

Isn’t the houseplant revival wonderful? We’re seeing plants used in abundance to style shop interiors, like fashion retailer & Other Stories. Urban Outfitters actually sell houseplants such as succulents and cacti in-store. And Millennials are really taking a shine to adding a botanical touch to their homes, encouraged by YouTubers like Anna Newton.

Several houseplant books have been hitting the shelves recently including this book, simply titled, ‘House Plants’. Written by The Balcony Gardener founder, Isabelle Palmer, it contains 60 innovative ideas of how to display plants in the home. There are also details of useful tools for caring for and maintaining houseplants, helpful advice on choosing and positioning containers, plus an explanation on decorative toppings.

House Plants by Isabelle Palmer is published by CICO Books. And it’s available on Amazon.

P.S. If you’d like to see a video about how to plant a succulent bowl which is one of the projects in the book, simply click here.
