New Instagram Photo Competition | #UnderThePoinsettiaSpell

In celebration of National Poinsettia Day on December 12th, I’m delighted to announce a new Instagram Photo Competition, #UnderThePoinsettiaSpell!

This festive plant comes in an array of gorgeous colours and looks wonderful as a cut flower arranged in floral designs. Post your images of your creations featuring cut Poinsettias on Instagram with the #UnderThePoinsettiaSpell hashtag and you could be in with a chance of winning a set of Miller Harris candles!

On Instagram, simply post your photos featuring poinsettias as cut flowers and add the hashtag #UnderThePoinsettiaSpell in your caption. You can post as many different images as you wish…whether your photos are of hand-tied bouquets or vase arrangements. The images must be your own. I will choose the winner and they’ll be contacted by direct message on Instagram. The winner must reply within 7 days to receive the prize.

The winner will receive a set of Miller Harris candles.

The competition is open from today until 12pm UK time on Monday, 11th December 2017. The winner will be announced on National Poinsettia Day, Tuesday 12th December.

This competition is open to UK florists only. (Instagram rules : This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. By entering, entrants confirm that they release Instagram of responsibility and agree to Instagram’s terms of use.)

To use poinsettia as cut flowers, simply snip the branch at a 45 degree angle and dip the end immediately into recently boiled water for around 5 seconds to seal in the milky sap. Then pop the stem into cold water to drink. You can arrange the cut flower in water or wet floral foam and it will last up 5-7 days.

Good luck and I can’t wait to see your photos!

This post is brought to you in collaboration with J E Communications. All the words are my own.
