I hope your week has gone well. It looks like we’re in for an amazing weekend weather-wise here in the UK. So if you’d like to make the most of the sunshine and are in the London area, I’d highly recommend a visit to the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew.
I visited these beautiful gardens the other Friday afternoon with photographer, Rosie Bray. Rosie and I had ‘met’ via Twitter a few months ago and as she also has a passion for flowers and taking photographs of gardens, Kew seemed the perfect place to meet up!
We had such a lovely afternoon and I really want to thank Rosie for all her photography advice…I learnt SO much! So, here are the results of our time together including my photos of echinaceas, verbena bonariensis, roses, dahlias and Japanese anemones. Oh, and that’s Rosie in action amongst the dainty pale pink blooms…
We only had time to see a small part of what Kew has to offer and I can’t wait to go back again!
