Firstly, thank you so much to everyone who came to the Social Media Workshop in Surrey yesterday. It was lovely to catch up with familiar faces and meet lots of new people too. I taught a two hour session in the afternoon about ‘How to use photos to promote your flowery business’. And I really enjoyed not only putting together my notes and PowerPoint for the session, but also being a trainer again, which I used to do in my old corporate job. Training is something which I plan to do more of this year…
On to today’s blog post which features beautiful soft purple tulips called Candy Prince, a single early variety. It’s very much the tulip season at the moment and you’ll find them in abundance in florist shops, farmers’ markets, garden centres and supermarkets. They come in a kaleidoscope of colours including white, red, yellow, pink, purple, orange and green. Plus, there are also striped and bi-colour varieties.
If you’d like to find out more about tulips, do take a look at my recent Product Profile Report for New Covent Garden Flower Market. Or you may like to read my article in the most recent issue of Homemaker magazine.
