Don’t you just love it when you’re on holiday and you’re not 100% sure which day of the week it is? Well, having returned to work on Thursday, I’m slowly getting back into the swing of things. It’s Saturday today (I think!). You may remember that I mentioned recently that I’d no longer be writing Flowerona Reflects every week? Instead, I’ll be writing it at the end of each month.
So, today, I’m going to let you in on a little secret. I read lots of blogs daily but there’s one in particular that has become a ‘must-read’ favourite. I so look forward to reading it and would you believe that it’s not about flowers?! The blog is called Wearing It Today (WIT) and it’s written by Laura Fantacci, Fashion & Shopping Editor at Red magazine.
Monday through to Friday, Laura features photos of what she’s wearing with details of where you can buy the actual or similar clothes, plus she gives advice on the latest fashion trends. I LOVE her ‘eye’ and the way that she styles outfits! So much so, that thanks to Laura, I now have some very lovely clothes in my wardrobe. As an homage to WIT, I thought I’d scour the January sales and feature some floral fashion finds, some of which Laura has mentioned in the past.
1. Eleana Top – Reiss : £65.00
2. Anastasia Dress – Phase Eight – £89.00
3. Pleated Lace Skirt – French Connection : £25.00
4. Velvetine Rose Flower Dress – French Connection : £100.00
5. Sheila Satin Floral Print Shoe – LK Bennett : £95.00
6. Blue Rose Print Superskinny Jeans – Dorothy Perkins : £19.60
So, if you’re looking to spruce up your wardrobe in 2014, why not take advantage of some of these sale bargains? And I highly recommend that you visit Wearing It Today. You can sign up to receive the blog posts via email, so that you don’t miss any.
P.S. I bought the Pleated Lace Skirt before Christmas in the sale and have had lovely compliments every time that I’ve worn it. It was reduced then, but not with the 50% discount it has now. It’s well worth buying one before they all sell out!
