I hope you’re having a lovely Christmas. I’ve been really looking forward to sharing these photos from the Floral Musings course, which was run by The Tallulah Rose Flower School in October. It took place at Brixton East in London, the same venue where we hold our Social Media for Florists workshops.
Run over two days by Rachel, the flower school founder, and her colleague Saffy (pictured below), it featured a series of practical floral demonstrations and lectures. And students had a stunning selection of flowers to choose from to create their own arrangements!
I visited the course on the afternoon of the first day and in the morning, the students had made stunning ‘meadow boxes’!
In the afternoon, each of the students were given a prop to decorate with flowers including a bicycle, door and bannister. Rachel and Saffy first demoed a design incorporating a mirror, as you can see below. Then the students had complete free rein to create their own designs. Rachel and Saffy were on hand to give guidance, when required.
Isn’t this design below wonderful?!
The next course in London is taking place on April 8th & 9th. Full details can be found on the Tallulah Rose Flower School website.
P.S. Here’s a link to my Flowerona Reflects video, which features footage from the workshop.
