Today I’m featuring the final two parts, starting with how to make a Jane Packer signature hat box design.
Hannah took a plastic Welbeck bowl (also known as a bulb bowl) and placed soaked floral foam into it.
She then secured the floral foam in the bowl with pot tape, before placing it inside a grey hat box.
To make the hat box lid stay ajar, she took a rose stem and inserted it into the centre of the foam.
Then she took a piece of reel wire and after making a loop, inserted the wire through the hat box lid and attached it to the stem.
The next step was to insert the deep pink roses into the floral foam.
And finally, Hannah decorated the design with some light blue wire balls in varying sizes and tied matching blue wool around the hat box.
After having admired the Jane Packer hat box designs for some time, it was really lovely to see how they’re created. And Hannah made it look so simple!
I’ll be back shortly with Part 4, the final blog post about the demo.
