It’s time for me to share with you the things I’ve seen, done and loved this month.
1. Brush Lettering Workshop by Quill London
I went to a wonderful Brush Lettering Workshop led by Emma Block and Teri Muncey at West Elm. And I can’t wait to practise and feature some of this beautiful lettering style on Flowerona. (The next workshop is on November 18th.)
2. The Pig on the Beach
I escaped to Dorset for a few days for my birthday and stayed at this ‘restaurant with rooms’ at Studland Bay. It was the perfect place for taking long walks by the sea and to relax…with absolutely delicious food. If you go, make sure you spend some time in front of the fire in The Snug and sample their flat breads on the lawn at lunchtime!
3. Cape by Zara
I’ve been looking for a cape for a few weeks now and came across this shorter version in Zara, which I fell in love with…
4. George Northwood
Visiting the George Northwood hair salon is always such a treat! And I feel so very lucky to have my hair coloured by Amy and cut by Lotte. Both ladies are absolute magicians and I can’t recommend them and the salon highly enough.
5. Britt Fringed Jumpsuit by Phase Eight
This was the jumpsuit which I wore to the Wedding Magazine Blog Awards. I wanted something that was dressy but not too over-the-top as the awards ceremony was taking place in the afternoon..and this was perfect!
6. MAC Satin Lipstick in Brave
Prior to the awards ceremony, I treated myself to a one hour appointment at MAC in Selfridges. (When you book it, you pay £30, but it’s then redeemable on products.) And this lipstick was the one which the make-up artist chose for me. I haven’t stopped wearing it since. It’s a great colour to wear for daytime, when you want just a hint of colour.
