Well, where is the year disappearing to? I can’t quite believe that we’re now into November and that it’s less than eight weeks until Christmas Day!
Visiting New Covent Garden Flower Market was one of the highlights of my week. It means getting up at 4.45am and leaving the house in pitch darkness, but the reward when you enter the Market is always so worth it! I was there to take photos and talk to the traders for my November Flower Market Report, which will be on the Market’s website next week. Here are just a few of the beautiful flowers which I captured on my camera and iPhone whilst I was there.
It never ceases to amaze me how sometimes when I put an image on Instagram that it gets lots of ‘likes’, when I’m really not expecting it. And this image above of Craspedia (also known as Billy Balls) has received almost 60 likes…possibly the most popular image I’ve ever had! Just so you know, in real life, they’re actually less green and more yellow.
It was also lovely this week to go to the Country Living Magazine Christmas Fair in London, see the Jane Packer team and their Christmas wreaths floristry demo, plus catch up with Jane Means, Jo Butcher, Laura Rose and Emma Hardicker.
And I’ve been busy writing two magazine articles…one for Wedding Flowers & Accessories magazine and one for another magazine, which I’ll be able to tell you about when it’s published later this month!

So, I hope you have a lovely Saturday. I’ll be spending most of the day working as I need to get everything scheduled before I go to Holland next week for the floristry trade fairs. I’m so looking forward to my trip! See you tomorrow with Flowerona Links.
