When you post a photo on Snapchat, you can leave it unadorned without text. But most people tend to add some words and here are 5 different options.
OPTION 1 – WHITE TEXT ON A BLACK BAR
Press the T in the top right hand corner and a black bar will appear with a flashing cursor. Type in your caption and it will look like the image on the right below.
OPTION 2 : WHITE TEXT, LEFT ALIGNED
Press the T in the top right hand corner again. The text will change to white letters. The words will be left aligned, as shown in the image on the left below. You can move the text around the screen and pinch it to make it bigger or smaller.
OPTION 3 : WHITE TEXT, CENTRED
Press the T in the top right hand corner for a third time and the text will be centred, as shown in the image on the right below.
OPTION 4 : COLOURED TEXT
Press on the text itself and a colour spectrum will come up on the right hand side of the screen. Move your finger up and down the spectrum and choose a colour. In the image below on the left, you can see I’ve chosen blue.
OPTION 5 : GREY TEXT
Grey is not one of the colours in the spectrum. So to choose it, hold your finger down on the colour spectrum and swipe to three quarters of the way down the left hand side of your screen. Then let go. The words will change to grey as shown in the image on the right below.
So, why not have a try now and see which option you like the best…
