In the UK, next Sunday on March 18th, it’s Mother’s Day or Mothering Sunday as it’s sometimes referred to.
So, I thought I’d show you my pick of bouquets which you may like to send to your mum to celebrate the day, starting off with two beautiful designs by the Jane Packer Delivered team.
‘Pretty Pastel’ is the name of the gorgeous arrangement above featuring soft tones of vintage peach and pink roses, together with pale pink carnations and gerberas, rosemary and pittosporum.
And if your mum is a tulip-fan, this ‘Sherbet Tulip’ bouquet would be perfect. Full of lilac and pink blooms, plus unusual pink and green toned parrot tulips.
Wild at Heart also have a lovely range of bouquets for Mother’s Day including the two designs below.
First up is this gorgeous colourful arrangement in a pretty ceramic jar by Paris-based artist Nathalie Lete.
And here’s their ‘Country Vintage Bouquet’ with an antique feel and a mixture of seasonal blooms.
John Lewis has come up trumps with these two beautiful arrangements.
Here’s their vintage-inspired ‘Mother’s Day Hat Box’ design bursting full of pale pink roses, spray roses, hydrangeas and lime green guelder rose.
They also have this very classic ‘White Tulip Hat Box’ arrangement with frilly parrot tulips and standard tulips.
For mothers who like a fragrant bouquet, they are these two stunning arrangements from The Real Flower Company, starting with the ‘Scented Pink’ design below.
It’s full of exquisite scented garden roses in shades of pink, combined with garden herbs and foliage.
And if you’re looking for a bouquet with more muted tones, how about this stunning ‘Scented Pastel Roses and Narcissi’ design?
Gorgeous paperwhite narcissi provide a hint of spring, complemented by the fragrant roses and herbs.
Another scented option would be to order you mum narcissi by post from Scilly Flowers who’re based in the Isles of Scilly.
I was fortunate to receive a bouquet recently as a thank you gift from the company and can vouch for the amazing fragrance that they bring to a room…and they’re beautifully packed too.
You can order bunches in varying sizes, from sixteen to one hundred stems.
So, I hope today’s blog post has given you some gift ideas for how to treat your mum next Sunday.
Whether you order a bouquet from your local florist or online, best to do it sooner rather than later…
