On Wednesday, I was delighted to attend a a Floral Masterclass with Robbie Honey at CH Carolina Herrera‘s Fulham Road store, in celebration of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Inspired by the vibrant primary colours of the brand’s latest collection, Robbie created three beautiful floral designs in yellow, red and blue.
For the first arrangement, chicken wire was placed in a glass compotier. Then Robbie added foliage and yellow flowers including roses, snapdragons and Oenothera (evening primrose) from New Covent Garden Flower Market. The second design featured Red Naomi roses, gloriosa lilies, sweet peas and ranunculus. And for the third arrangement, stems of blue delphiniums and cornflowers were arranged in silver containers, complemented by white Avalanche roses.
Here’s the red design below adding a pop of colour to the store’s downstairs. Spot the stunning dresses in those signature colours!
Robbie had beautifully decorated the upstairs of the store’s interior with delphiniums in the stairwell…
…and breath-taking coral peonies with yellow calla lilies, making such a wonderful statement as soon as clients stepped into the store.
Oh…and I mustn’t forget to mention the extremely delicious macaroons by L’Orchidee in floral-inspired flavours, which we savoured whilst watching Robbie in action! Such a lovely way to spend an afternoon…
