Recently, I was invited by Farrow & Ball to take part in a challenge which they’re running to celebrate their new wallpaper collection, which is inspired by the Dorset countryside. My task was to create a countryside vignette using one of their wallpaper designs as a backdrop and to incorporate my favourite countryside activity.
So, I chose the Feather Grass design (BP 5101) as it reminds me of walking in fields next to the sea in Salcombe, Devon…a place I love to escape to, a few times a year. No matter what season we visit, we’ll always go for a walk. And I don’t even mind the blustery winds which we’ve had recently. It just makes walking by the sea all the more bracing and invigorating!
Along the way, we’ll often pick up fallen pine cones to add to the hearth of an unused fireplace in our spare bedroom. And once back inside, we’ll settle down with a freshly brewed cup of tea and something sweet.
So, if you’re looking for inspiration to decorate your home over the coming months, do check out the Farrow & Ball website.
