I recently came across Jane Booth‘s beautiful floral ceramics when reading ‘Country Living’ magazine.
Today’s post features a selection of her tableware ranging from bowls to mugs and jugs. Each piece is hand-thrown and individually decorated. And the items shown in the post are predominantly from her Confection, Iris and Paisley ranges.
Bristol-based Jane has been making pottery for a few years, but only started selling her work about 15 months ago.
She’s always liked floral designs and working with colour, and gets a lot of inspiration from vintage fabrics, china and paintings (particularly from the eighteenth century).
Her plans for the rest of 2011? Well, she’ll be busy making the orders received via her website and then will make more stock for existing and new galleries.
Jane, who particularly likes cottage garden flowers, has really caught the vintage feel with her designs that’s very ‘in’ at moment. And I don’t think it’ll be long before one of her pretty floral mugs is finding its way into our kitchen cupboard…!
