I have a new passion and it’s photography! At Christmas, my husband bought me a digital SLR camera, especially for my blog, as our point-and-click camera was very basic.
After a three day beginner’s course in early February, I’ve been snapping away…and absolutely LOVE it. It’s such escapism, staring into the viewfinder deciding on a shot.
So, this evening, I start a nine week photography course called ‘Learning to use your digital SLR’ at a local college. I’m so looking forward to it!
On this theme, today’s post features some stunning floral images from the very talented photographer, Michael Paul. I contacted Michael and he kindly sent me these photographs.
Originally from New Zealand, Michael is an internationally renowned lifestyle photographer based in London and is one of the most respected photographers in the field of food, interiors and still life.
He spends much of his time travelling the world on assignments for leading international lifestyle magazines and publishers, photographing and writing about the beautiful interiors and designs he encounters on his travels.
His work appears regularly in prestigious magazines such as The Sunday Times Style, Saturday Telegraph magazine, Vogue Entertaining + Travel, Gourmet, Martha Stewart Living, Real Simple Magazine, Delicious, Marie Claire Italy, Elle à Table, Food Illustrated, Food and Wine, and Vogue Living.
I hope you’ve enjoyed browsing through Michael’s beautiful floral photographs. I’ve been studying them intently!
