JamJar Flowers beautifully decorated the London Gate at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show. And they kindly invited me to a press event yesterday to see their installation.
After viewing the exquisitely plant adorned gate, we took a gentle 5 minute stroll to Daylesford Organic Farmshop and Cafe in Pimlico for a honey-themed breakfast. And it was such a wonderful way to start the day!
Outside the front of the building, the planters have been filled with bee-friendly plants mirroring the Chelsea design. And inside upstairs, for the press event, the table had been wonderfully styled with similar flowers including geums and forget-me-nots.

Before sitting at our allocated place settings, there was a photo frenzy as we all captured the stunning tablescape, which even had a delicate white floral mobile hanging down the centre of the table.
Then we settled down to toast and three different types of delicious Oxfordshire and Cotswold honey, followed by a choice of other mouth-watering breakfast dishes. I can highly recommend the granola!

And here are a few photos of the installation outside the Daylesford store with stunning planting by JamJar Flowers.

We were very kindly gifted the vases, which lined the table plus a jar of honey, packed up in these lovely Daylesford bags. And my vase is sitting on my desk in my office as I write this blog post…

If you’re visiting the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and are looking for somewhere to recharge and rest your weary feet, I highly recommend visiting the Daylesford’s Pimlico store. I loved it so much that after leaving the Chelsea showground at 3pm, I went back to the cafe and had a much-needed pot of tea, before I headed to Sloane Square to take photos of Chelsea in Bloom installations.
It was a 6am start yesterday, leaving the house at 7.15am and getting back home at 7.15pm. I can’t deny, I was a little shattered when I got home. But it was such an incredible day! And so lovely to meet up with so many talented people involved in the floristry industry and gardening world.
Look out tomorrow for further RHS Chelsea Flower Show posts. And if you’ve not had chance already, here’s a link to JamJar’s London Gate installation from earlier today.
