Danish-born Florist Jens Jakobsen took part this year in a new concept for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. He created one of four floral installations titled Floral Immersion : The Beauty of Nature. And the aim was to present the ‘beguiling art of the florist on a new design platform’.
Many congratulations to Jens on his stunning creation called ‘The Circle of Life’. It’s a recreation of the Fairy Circle or Hjaltadans, found on Fetlar, one of the Shetland Islands.
Trees devoid of their leaves and hand-made nests were decorated with flowers, displayed as found in nature, to create the fairytale effect of a magical woodland meadow around the circle. Scroll down to see lots more photos…
It certainly is magical, isn’t it! If you’d like to discover more about Jens, simply pop over to the Jens Jakobsen Floral Construction website.
