I hope you had a lovely weekend…
Today sees the start of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London and it’s Press Day. I’ll be there, taking lots of photos. And I’ll be sharing them with you this week.
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the show, Anthropologie has brought L.A. based perfumier, Royal Apothic to London.
In their King’s Road store, the gallery has been transformed into a Victorian era apothecary, filled with Royal Apothic’s range of products.
The perfumier has designed a bespoke fragrance for Anthropologie, especially to mark the centenary of the show, called Antiquarius Petals.
The fragrance is inspired by stately homes, gardens and abundant blooms of the flower show.
And it’s named after the historic and well-loved Antiquarius building in which Anthropologie’s Chelsea store stands.
I was delighted to be invited to the launch party last Thursday evening and here are some more photos from the event…
Anna and Ellie from The Flower Appreciation Society (pictured above) created fabulous floral headdresses and corsages for the guests.
I loved my headdress which included carnations and begonias…captured by the wonderful photographer, Helen Jermyn.
And the fragrance itself? Well, the beautiful bottle with its little silver pump is now sitting in pride of place on my dressing table.
It’s such a light, very easy-to-wear fragrance. I love it so much that I’ve worn it every day since the launch…
