At the weekend, a very special wedding show took place in London called Brides The Show. I went along on Saturday and was in awe of the wonderful floral designs created by the florists there…and in particular, the stand designed by Mary Jane Vaughan. I was thrilled to hear the next day that Mary Jane had been awarded the Editor’s Gold Design Award. Justly deserved…! She’d used a muted colour palette of soft pink, grey and sage green and had incorporated spring flowers and succulents into her design. There was a nod to industrial chic, but with a soft, organic vibe. I loved the wall of succulents in varying hues, the pussy willow standing to attention underneath the glass table, the Cloni ranunculus and the fabulous hanging lights. Here are some more photos…
Wasn’t the stand spectacular? Mary Jane said that she was inspired initially by the lights and the whole design evolved from there. If you’d like to see more of this very talented lady’s floral creations, do visit the Mary Jane Vaughan website. You can also find her company on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
