Well, today, I’m delighted to feature a new Spring/Summer 2012 capsule collection for Topshop which she’s designed exclusively for them. And it’s being launched this Friday.
From the nine pieces in the collection, the ‘Pheasant Dream’ dress pictured above is my favourite design, with vibrant fuchsia blooms around the neckline contrasting with a deep blue floral pattern and a floral china Ming vase skirt.
With inspiration from Mary’s Autumn/Winter 2011 mainline range, all the items have been developed with the Topshop girl in mind. And the vivid, yet intricate, prints have been developed especially for the collection.
The idea is for the pieces, with their clashing prints, to be layered and combined, as seen at Mary’s catwalk shows.
Alternatively, for a toned-down look, you could simply combine a tee shirt with a pair of jeans.
Here are some more images from the collection…
Dainty carnations twirl across deep blue jersey leggings and a simple t-shirt as shown in the image below.
On the ‘Goldbird’ silk tunic below is a gem-filled gold bird perching on a photo-real hydrangea nest.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing Mary’s beautiful new range.
With prices ranging from £40 to £350, the collection will be available online and in nine Topshop stores on February 17th.
P.S. I love the background floral wallpaper they’ve used to style the photo shoot…
