McQueens Flowers pulled out all the stops this month at their ‘Key Trends for Winter 2019’ Press Event at The Rosewood Hotel in London! With an overarching theme of ‘Foraged & Found’, they brought nature into the City with the wonderful woodland installation pictured below.
Fir cones, teasels, poppy seed heads, statice and cotton were nestled amongst the blue pine and other assorted greenery.
Adjacent to the installation was a gorgeous display not only of their festive floral designs, but also the finest champagne from Ruinart and chocolates from Rococo. For Christmas 2019, McQueens are partnering with these heritage brands. Also, another great present option is the Miller Harris x McQueens Flowers Candle Collection.
The McQueens Flowers Festive Collection is available from November 22nd. And it includes from left to right below, Yule Crown, Frosted Winter Wonderland, Enchanted Forest and Noelle.
Here’s a close-up of Enchanted Forest. And just how gorgeous is the Oro gold-dripped vase in which it was displayed?!
At the Press Event, it was so lovely to catch up with McQueens Flower School Principal, Sophie, pictured below. And to hear that as well as daytime wreath-making classes, this year evening classes will also be taking place at their Bethnal Green HQ in London.
Sophie said: “At the moment, there is a strong pull towards what grows in the wild. That coupled with the focus on sustainability, is why we know that 2019 will be a Christmas filled with natural luxury adornments. So, here are McQueens, we want to teach people how to make exquisite seasonal wreaths inspired by the enchantment of forests and fauna in these immersive masterclasses”.
Just how fabulous is this wreath above? I love the bow created from knitted ‘ribbon’! If you’d like more details about the classes at the Flower School, Christmas 2019 installations or the Festive Collection, simply visit the McQueens Flowers website.
