Picking your own flowers is such a treat! And that’s what I was doing on Friday morning at PlantPassion in Surrey. It was definitely the highlight of my week! And it was my first venture out since lockdown started in March. I’d booked a slot online for a Pick Your Own Session and had such a lovely time, wandering through the fields, cutting flowers including the Astrantia pictured above. After being ensconced in the office all week, it was so lovely to get some fresh air and catch up with Claire the owner too, socially distanced of course.
This week, I thought I’d bring back the regular Floristry Industry Insight blog post format for you, with lots of beautiful floral inspiration. Simply read on…

FLOWERONA’S WEEK
Instagram for Florists Online Course
For the last five weeks, I’ve been running my 6 week Instagram for Florists online course. And I’ve been blown away by the transformation that so many of the students have made to their Instagram accounts! Due to all their wonderful feedback, I’ve decided to re-open registration for the course this month.
I’ll be re-opening registration for the course on Monday, 15th June at 9am GMT. Registration will be open until Friday, 19th June at 5pm GMT. And then the course will start on Monday, 22nd June and run for 6 weeks.
Due to the impact of the coronavirus on the floristry industry, I’ll be continuing to offer a special £100 discount on the course price. Instead of the standard price of £297, the price will be £197. This is either payable in one full payment or two installments. If you’d like to join us, simply sign up here to the Waiting List and you’ll be one of the first to know when registration opens!
So I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s blog post and that you have a lovely restful Sunday.
