I hope you’re having a lovely Christmas. Just to let you know…I am taking some time away from my computer over the festive period, but have scheduled everything in advance. So there will be Flowerona blog posts every day for you to enjoy!
You may remember the other day I mentioned that I’d attended a Press Event for International Poinsettia Day at Neill Strain‘s boutique in London? Well, today I thought I’d feature some images of the amazing star installation at the entrance to Neill’s store, plus some of the designs inside.
Below, left to right, are Caroline Marshall Foster (Managing Editor of The Florist magazine), Greg Hill (Managing Director of Hills Brothers) and Emily Dickerson (The Florist Magazine).
And below are Neill Strain and I.
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading today’s blog post. The wonderful poinsettia star outside Neill’s shop definitely caught the attention of lots of passers-by, some of whom had their photograph taken in front of it. And just in case you’re wondering…once the poinsettia ‘blooms’ had been cut from the plants, they were sealed in a flame and then inserted into floral foam.
P.S. Here’s a link to images of the star before the floral foam and poinsettias had been attached.
