This is the final show garden from the RHS Chelsea Flower Show that I’m planning on featuring on Flowerona this year. Called The Homebase Garden – ‘Time to Reflect’ in association with The Alzheimer’s Society, it was designed by Adam Frost. Many congratulations to Adam, Homebase and constructor The Outdoor Room on winning a Gold medal! Inspired by Adam’s father’s passion for the outdoors, the garden demonstrates how a person’s memories can help to create a multi-purpose family space. I love the naturalistic planting featuring purples and whites, plus the meandering path.
Congratulations too, to Adam on becoming an RHS Ambassador! As part of his new role, he’ll be helping the RHS in its bid to encourage more secondary schools to embrace gardening, as well as to help raise the profile of horticultural careers.
