One of my favourite parts of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show is when the bell for the Sell Off is rung at 4pm on Saturday, the last day of the show. That’s the signal for the gardens and exhibits to start selling their plants and flowers to visitors. The result is a truly wonderful spectacle, described by one of the exhibitors as the ‘Walking Garden’, as people leave the show ground, laden down with their floral treasures. And there’s such a lovely atmosphere! I hope you enjoy looking through my photos. And do look out for the wheelbarrow!
Lovely to also see some Chelsea pensioners taking their little piece of the show away with them…
