Resuming my coverage of the RHS Chelsea Flower Show today, in place of my Wedding Wednesday blog post series, I’m delighted to feature images of Jo Thompson‘s beautiful garden for the show’s sponsor, M&G Investments. Called ‘The Retreat’, it featured a two-storey oak framed building, the inside of which is pictured below. It was styled by Ancient Industries and the flowers were provided by Flora Starkey. The attention to detail is incredible!
Thank you so much to Jo for allowing me to take a look inside the building and also to walk around the garden, which was awarded a Silver-Gilt medal. Below are some more photos of this wonderful garden, with its stone sculptures, natural swimming pond and lush planting.
On Press Day at the show, three synchronised swimmers with floral swimming caps swam in the pond. Their caps were made by florist Larry Walshe, who also made the sensational floral dress which I featured on Flowerona last week.
