I hope you had a lovely weekend. Following on from my post about the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2011 on Friday, today’s post features the floristry marquee.
The theme was ‘Swinging Sixties’ and I loved florist, Jane Packer‘s stand with its white, black, pale lilac and red colour scheme.

Jane’s signature hat boxes of blooms featured heavily on the stand and we were also shown how to make the design in the floristry demonstration by one of Jane’s team.
Diana started off greening up the oasis with salal foliage and then added green cymbidium orchids which had been placed in test tubes. Another type of orchid were then arranged to one side of the modern design, which was finished off with a swathe of orchid roots.

So, those are the highlights from the floristry marquee at this year’s RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show 2011. Tomorrow, we’ll be taking a look at ‘A Wonderland of Roses’.
