Yesterday, I was very fortunate to go to the Press Day for the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, which opens today.
I thought I’d start off this year’s coverage on Flowerona with the Roses & Floristry Vintage Festival…and in particular, the incredible exhibit created by Jane Packer Flowers.
I was completely blown away by their stand which comprised of four shops in a vintage 1950s high street.
They included a parfumerie, florist shop, tearoom and ladies’ accessories shop…all adorned with stunning blooms in different colour palettes.
Here’s a shot below of the whole parade, which is followed by images of the individual shops.
No. 1 : Parfumerie
No. 2 : Florist Shop
No. 3 : Tearoom
No. 4 : Ladies’ Accessories Shop
Were you wowed as much as I was yesterday?
So much thought and work has been put into the exhibit. The attention to detail is amazing, from the flower fairy cake in the tearoom to the intricate hats and bags in the ladies’ accessories shop.
If you’re visiting the show, do make a beeline for the Roses & Floristry Vintage Festival, where you’ll see this stand plus some of the other exhibitors I’ll be featuring this week.
And if I had to choose my favourite shop, it would be No. 2, the florist shop. I love the combination of summer colours…pinks, reds and purples.
It would be lovely to know which shop is your favourite. Simply leave a comment below…
Huge congratulations to Jane Packer Flowers. They not only won a Gold Medal, but also were awarded ‘Best Professional Floristry Exhibit’!
Here are Akira and Charlotte from the company with their certificate and award.
