This is my final blog post featuring this year’s RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.
And it’s also the last bouquet made in the floristry demonstration by the Jane Packer Flowers team at the show.
Here’s a close-up…
Coral appears to be such a popular colour in floristry at the moment and Coral Charm peonies, in particular.
Before making this last design, Akira talked the audience through the floral ingredients he was about to use…dahlias, peonies and Dracaena compacta.
And here are images of him creating the bouquet…
As there was a vintage 1950s theme in the floristry tent at this year’s show, Akira added strings of pearls to the design to give a vintage touch.
And here he is below, tying up the final design.
I love the contrast of the coral with the dark foliage…
