I love how even though I’m based in the UK, Flowerona reaches people all around the world.
And I was recently contacted by Anthea who’s based in Australia. She told me about the new issue of her little book called Spoonful, which is totally inspired by flowers.
Spoonful is described as ‘a short and inspiring little publication which, in light of our insanely busy lives, can be finished by the end of a train ride. It’s quick to consume, beautifully soft and after reading will genuinely make you smile.’
And it certainly did make me smile when I read it…
It’s full of beautiful images of blooms of all types and colours, with inspirational sound bites from florists and flower-lovers.
Plus there are artists’ interpretations of flowers with their Victorian meanings and a little craft project to make a pretty felt flowery brooch.
Here are a few more pages from Spoonful…
Utterly charming is how I would describe this lovely little publication…
lt can be purchased through Spoonful’s website and Etsy.
In Sydney, Spoonful is sold by florists with fresh bunches of blooms. So, if you’re a florist and would like to stock Anthea’s beautiful book, please do send her an email ([email protected]).
To keep up-to-date with news about Spoonful, there’s a Facebook page and they’re on Twitter.
