If I did a survey and asked people what kind of flowers they would normally associate with Valentine’s Day, it’s very likely that the most popular answer would be red roses…do you agree? What I love about Philippa Craddock’s new collection for Valentine’s Day though is that, whilst including bouquets featuring this traditional choice of bloom, she’s also created some exquisite designs in alternative colour palettes and using seasonal flowers.
I adore the bright and cheery Churchill Bouquet above with its mixture of pink tulips, including double and fringed varieties. Below is the eye-popping Clarendon Bouquet which features All for Love roses, clematis, scented lilac and stock, alchemilla mollis, liatris and veronica.
And just how pretty is this Avebury Bouquet? It includes a mixture of Secret Garden, Sweet Avalanche and Bombastic roses, together with waxflower and eucalyptus.
A myriad of different textures can be found in the Farleigh Bouquet which features Memory Lane, Metallina and O’Hara roses, astrantia and kochia.
Philippa has also created two beautiful designs featuring red roses. The Windsor Bouquet includes Red Naomi roses, alchemilla mollis and eucalyptus.
And the Monacute Bouquet features simply Red Naomi roses and eucalyptus.
Aren’t they truly wonderful? All the bouquets are available in a range of sizes (Medium, Large and Sumptuous) and they can be ordered online via the Philippa Craddock Flowers website.
