Today’s post features absolutely beautiful floral wedding invitations from Emily&Jo Stationery.
I love the stylish and contemporary look of their designs which are available as wedding invitations, save the date cards, thank you cards, menus, order of service, rsvp and place cards.
They’ve just launched their new website and here is a selection of their floral-inspired invitations.
Jo very kindly answered a few questions for me :
When did you start the business and where are you based?
Emily&Jo was founded in 2007. Our local NCT class unknowingly instigated the conception of Emily&Jo as this is where we first met over a birthing ball and chocolate cookie. We are based in London.
Where do you get your floral inspiration for your designs?
We adore floral patterns whether vintage or contemporary, and often draw inspiration from fresh flower markets where the array of colours is just breath-taking.
Vintage fabrics, classic films, contemporary florists have all played a part in the creation of our fresh, varied and on-trend portfolio. We really work hard to fulfil a niche in the wedding stationery market that we feel many modern day brides are craving for.
What are your plans for the remainder of 2011?
We will be at the fabulous Babington House on September 3rd showcasing our designs and together with the gorgeous girls at Passion Flowers creating some stunning table decorations.
Do you have a favourite flower?
It would have to be a plump and sumptuous peony!
