Well, I was delighted to meet the very talented lady behind the company, Fiona Douglas, at Tent in London last month.
Fiona told me that she’s been busy creating new designs depicting her favourite summer blooms and a selection are featured in today’s blog post….all of which, I adore!
Starting off, are the gorgeous cushions above called Sophie (on the left) and Liz (on the right).
Sophie is perfect for adding a fresh feel to your home and has been named after a very lovely florist Fiona knows! Liz is one of the larger Bluebellgray cushions with a band of florals splashed across it. With both the cushions, the watercolour textures and marks are beautifully printed onto the cotton/linen fabric.
At Tent, last month, Bluebellgray launched their full fabric collection and pictured below is Rosie, one of their first designs for curtains. It comes as a panel and is designed to look as if the flowers are growing from the bottom of the fabric. Apparently, it’s already hanging in the Bluebellgray bedroom!
Sunny, pictured below, is the name of their second fabric panel…an amazing modern design that will add sunshine to your home! Again, it’s designed to look as if the sunflowers are growing from the bottom of the fabric.
As a modern alternative to a matching pair of curtains, you could have Rosie as one curtain and Sunny as the other!
I find Fiona’s work so uplifting…and feel she really captures the flowers at their zingy, colourful best. So, even though autumn is here, having one of Bluebellgray’s designs in your home could allow you to have your own little bit of summer all year round.
