I hope you enjoyed my blog post last week about our recent holiday in France. As promised, today I’m featuring the beautiful chateau where we stayed…Chateau de Sours.

We were very fortunate to coincide our holiday with harvest time.  And one morning, the owner, Martin Krajewski, gave us a tour.

From the grapes in his vineyard, he makes red, white and rosé wine.  And we were there on a day when his team were harvesting red grapes.

Above and below you can see some images of the process…from starting to hand-pick early in the morning, to transporting the grapes to the winery where they were then quality checked, before being crushed and transferred into large vats.… Read more
