I hope you’ve had a lovely week. Spring officially started here in the UK on Thursday and there’s a wonderful abundance of blossom and daffodils. I took this image of stunning pink blossom on Wednesday and it was so popular! Thank you everyone for your likes on Instagram and Facebook. This week, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Alan Titchmarsh at a Waitrose Press Event. If you had said to me a couple of years ago that I would be spending time chatting to Alan, I think I would have found it quite hard to believe.… Read more
Yesterday, here in the UK, it felt so spring-like, especially in the afternoon. Whilst I was working away in my office, the sun was streaming in and I could hear the gentle chit-chat of birds outside my window. And in our garden, daffodils, hyacinths and muscari were enjoying the warmer temperature. The official start of spring this year is March 20th and not long after it, on March 30th, it’ll be Mother’s Day. So today, I thought I’d share with you some beautiful floral designs from Wild at Heart’s Mother’s Day 2014 collection…

You may have noticed that London Fashion Week is currently taking place in the capital? And (naturally!) I love seeing floral designs appear on the catwalk. Today’s blog post features images of Mary Katrantzou‘s stunning dresses in her Spring/Summer 2014 collection. They appeared at London Fashion Week last September. The collection was based on footwear including brogues, trainers and ornate evening slippers. And it was the latter that these dresses embellished with crystals, pearls and sequins took their inspiration from.

It’s Valentine’s Day…so, I just had to feature the wonderful bouquets in McQueens’ 2014 collection today! They’re named after some of their favourite romantic films. And if I had to choose a favourite, it would be Love is a Many Splendoured Thing, which is pictured above. I love the red, pink and purple colour palette, plus all the different textures.
The bouquets come in three sizes…Classic, Premier and Luxury. And they’re available for delivery within the London area. If you’d like to find out more about each design, simply visit the McQueens website.… Read more
If I did a survey and asked people what kind of flowers they would normally associate with Valentine’s Day, it’s very likely that the most popular answer would be red roses…do you agree? What I love about Philippa Craddock’s new collection for Valentine’s Day though is that, whilst including bouquets featuring this traditional choice of bloom, she’s also created some exquisite designs in alternative colour palettes and using seasonal flowers.
I adore the bright and cheery Churchill Bouquet above with its mixture of pink tulips, including double and fringed varieties.… Read more
