I hope you had a lovely weekend. I thought I’d start the week off with a burst of colour in the form of this field of poppies installation by Jannick Deslauriers.

Isn’t it just stunning? Using translucent fabric, Montreal based Jannick has created such delicate and almost ethereal poppies. I adore her take on this, one of my favourite flowers. To see more of her work, please do visit Jannick’s website.

Today is Kate and William’s first wedding anniversary. It only seems like yesterday that lots of us were glued to our screens watching their wonderful day.

What a wonderful day! The weather held out and the crowds lined the streets of London, waving Union Jack flags. I was glued to the television and I wasn’t disappointed by how amazingly beautiful Kate looked!
