In this month’s Garden Flowers blog post which I write with garden designer, Lisa Cox, we’re going to look at an evergreen flowering shrub with delicate blooms to brighten up your garden in these winter months…the camellia sasanqua.
There are other Camellia species, the spring-flowering Camellia japonica being the most commonly known, but the Camellia sasanqua brings some spring-like interest in late autumn and winter when there’s not much else in flower.
