Whilst I was visiting Writtle College last Friday to see the students making the Victory Bouquets for the London Olympics 2012, I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to make my own bouquet.
Hannah Emery from Jane Packer first demonstrated to me how to make it, starting with laying all the components in groups on a table.

Last Friday, I was very privileged to be invited by the Jane Packer team to visit Writtle College in Essex to watch the London Olympics 2012 Victory Bouquets being made by the staff and students.
I can’t quite explain how thrilled I was when I first got the call a few days before asking me if I’d like to visit the college!

With the Olympics taking place in just over six weeks time, it’s recently been announced that Jane Packer have been selected to create the Victory Bouquet for the medal winners.
The bouquet was designed by their creative director, Susan Lapworth, to reflect the vibrancy and energy of the London 2012 Games.
It consists of four different types of roses sectioned into quadrants to mirror the 2012 logo. The roses being used are Illios (yellow), Marie Claire (orange), Wimbledon (green) and Aqua (pink).… Read more
